Creating Lunes

Learn how to create public and private Lunes

Lune Accessibility Types

When training a Lune, you can specify it's accessibility it to be one of two types:

  • Private
  • Public

If accessibility set to Public, your Lune will be listed here and all users will be able to find and use your Lune on both web and API. Only you will have access to Private Lunes.

Unless you have personal or sensitive training materials, we highly recommend you set the accessibility to Public if you're training on public sources so others can utilize the Lune.

Creating a Lune

Go to My Lunes and click Train a Lune +

  1. Enter the details for the Lune: Enter a name and description. Note that if accessibility is set to public, this name and description will be visible to other users, and our system may automatically generate a new standardized name or description.

  2. Configure the knowledge sources: Add at least one knowledge source that follows our guidelines. Our system will detect innappropriate or an unallowed source and will automatically reject your training request.

  3. View the Lune in queue: You can view the progress in queue in My Lunes

Important:

Before training a Lune, please check if a similar Lune exists already. Our systems will automatically reject training jobs for redundant Lunes. You can view all available public Lunes under Explore
